Tea Room and Bed & Breakfast bang on the Sandstone Way route
ACCOMMODATION IN NORTHUMBERLAND
Simonburn is a peaceful “Olde Worlde” village situated two thirds of a mile off the B6320, halfway between Hexham and Bellingham, in the beautiful countryside of the North Tyne Valley.
Whilst enjoying a day out, taking a short break, bed and breakfast in Northumberland, or visiting Hadrian' Wall, you will be captivated by the charming village of Simonburn and the surrounding countryside. The delights of the Tea Room, Gift Shop and Garden are matched only by the warm welcome and personal attention from award-winning Ann (entrepreneur and wildlife protector) and her staff.
Welcoming and informal, Simonburn is a perfect escape for families, individuals, walkers and cyclists, and offers luxury accommodation at its finest. Open every day.
We have a barn where cyclists can store their bikes and a drying room for their clothes. We also provide evening meals and are fully licensed. We also have free WI-FI on site.
A stroll through the village brings you to St Mungo’s 13th Century Church, historically known as the Mother Church of the North Tyne Valley. You may even recognise some of the picturesque village green and surrounding houses that were used in the making of several of the Catherine Cookson films and Place of Execution by Robson Green Productions.
