Millers Cottage is a Grade 2 listed building lovingly restored to create a modern, comfortable and peaceful holiday location. A stone throw from a National Park, Holy Island to the Cheviot Hills and all the wonderful sandy beaches North Northumberland has to offer. The accommodation is the perfect mix of new and old with some historic in there too, it comprises of:
• A modern contemporary kitchen and diner with range cooker, and built in dishwasher and washing machine; • Spacious lounge boasting the original range fireplace and hearth, with a log burner. Once would have been the central part of the home, it now has a comfortable feel while relaxing and watching TV
• Modern, clean and contemporary bathroom, with large walk in shower, heated towel rail and underfloor heating along with complementary guest supplies
• 2 bedrooms, both with king size beds. Bedroom 1 has the option to split the bed to create 2 singles, an additional 3rd pull out bed is also available in this room
• Sleep 5 maximum
• Gardens with comfortable outside seating/dining area in a south facing position. Millers Cottage is set in the grounds of Holburn Mill Farmhouse which is surrounded by beautiful countryside, with views of farm land and hills. It's the perfect location and is very popular with walkers, cyclist and wildlife lovers. On an evening you could just spend hours looking up into the clearest dark skies, while listening to the owls hooting. Located in rural North Northumberland midway between Berwick upon Tweed and Alnwick.
