The pub (with accommodation) is in the village of Elsdon which is on the Sandstone Way and National Cycle Route 68 The Pennine Cycleway. We are open from 2pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday whilst we continue refurbishment. Our kitchen will be open from the 1st September but only with advance notice. We can open during the week by prior arrangement for large groups. We are family and dog friendly.
We offer accommodation, food, beer garden and an on-site micro-brewery.
Our accommodation includes:
2 double bedrooms both en suite, a family room (2 singles and 1 double also en suite) and a room for those choosing to throw down a roll mat and sleeping bag.
At the moment whilst renovating behind the scenes, our opening hours are:
Friday 2pm-11pm
Saturday 2pm-11pm
Sunday 2pm-10.30pm (although we can open during the week for large groups)
We are very lucky to have The First & Last Brewery on site and we serve their delicious craft beers. Together we offer brew experiences with overnight stays.
Our brand new kitchen is opening on the 1st September 2018. Food is available by prior request at the weekends and we can cater for large groups during the week by prior arrangement.
A host of musicians play throughout the year and we have a darts board and games cupboard.
There is a safe place to store bikes and a biomass boiler to dry clothes. We are family, dog and mud friendly!
